Chairman Mike Asher

| Mike Asher is Chief Executive Officer of CELS Ltd., the organisation driving a billion pounds of GVA growth across the North East’s healthcare economy. He became Chairman of the Board of BioTransformations in January 2008. Prior to this, Michael was CEO of Drew Scientific, a LSE listed medical diagnostics firm specialising in the fields of Diabetes and Haematology. Prior to that, Michael worked for Coulter Corporation and Instrumentation Laboratory. Mike has also worked for businesses involved in bio materials, implantable devices, surgical equipment, endoscopy, and most recently has set up a new business to support the health services commissioning needs of the 14 Greater Manchester NHS primary care trusts. Mike brings a wealth of experience in international business management in the Life Sciences area, having managed a variety of businesses for growth in both domestic and international markets. |

Ashley Cooper

| Ashley Cooper joined BioTransformations in March 2007. He has 22 years commercial experience spanning animal health, clinical and food diagnostic, medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. To date he has been involved in six start up companies excluding BioTransformations, three as a founder and CEO and has raised in excess of $70m in multiple rounds of private equity and debt finance. | |

| Colin Self studied chemistry (BSc), biochemistry (PhD) and medicine (MB, BChir) becoming the first medical professor to come out of Cambridge University’s new medical school. He was responsible for one of Cambridge’s first biotechnology companies (IQBio) which was formed from his work. After junior medical appointments in Cambridge he moved to The Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital after which he became Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at Newcastle University and consultant clinical biochemist to the Royal Victoria Infirmary running a successful combined department of up to 100 staff. More recently he has devoted increasing time to the successful development of the commercial exploitation of his work. | |

| David Blain, a Chartered Accountant, joined the Company in May 2007 as Interim Finance Director. Following 8 years at Price Waterhouse, David was Finance Director at Drew Scientific Group PLC for 11 years until its takeover by a NASDAQ listed company in 2004. David then led the flotation of eg Solutions where he was Finance Director until early 2007 and he currently runs a consultancy business assisting companies who need the benefit of an experienced Finance Director. | |
